Mission and Purpose:

Untangled Therapy and Training's mission is to provide tailored and customised professional development training to educators and people working with children and adolescents. We are able to formulate individualised training on a variety of topics including:

• From Dysregulated to Regulated - Exploring the most common reasons for dysregulation among young people. Assisting educators to develop and consolidate a toolkit of regulation strategies (both whole class and individual),

• Trauma in the classroom - identifying, supporting and engaging children.

• Working with and supporting children and adolescents with mental health difficulties and/ or behavioural concerns

 

"We have worked extensively with primary and secondary schools across the state, providing consultancy services, training and one to one support to education staff to assist their students. We work with you to develop training packages to suit your needs and target the specific goals you have. Our passion is helping young people, their families and schools THRIVE!'

 

OPTION ONE:

On-site single school/ single organisation professional development sessions;

For education staff, case workers, child protection workers, childcare workers, or any person working with children impacted by mental health, behaviour challenges and/or trauma. Our training sessions and packages are individualised to meet the needs of attendees. Session times and requirements are discussed with you at the time of booking to ensure comprehensive training is delivered. Sessions can be booked for one to six hours for individuals or minimum two to six hours (full day) for single schools/ organisations and can be booked over consecutive days/staff meetings as required.

Single school/ single organisation professional development sessions will be charged as follows for 2-30 attendees:

• Two Hour professional development session on PD days or staff meetings

             $450.00 with an additional fee of $45 per participant over 30 participants + GST

• Half Day professional development sessions on PD/ Training days (Three hours)

             $675.00 with an additional fee of $45 per participant over 30 participants + GST

• Full Day professional development session for a single school or organisation (Six hours)

             $1300.00 with an additional fee of $45 per participant over 30 participants + GST

(All prices and timings include break times for attendees to ensure maximum participation)

 

**Please note cancellation of single organisation/ single school training within 14 days of the scheduled training session will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the quoted cost.

OPTION TWO:

On-site multi school/ multi organisation professional development training;

For an optimal training environment, we recommend a group size of 4-20 participants for organisations or education staff from one school. This enables a tailored training experience with the availability to individualise strategies to the school or organisations specific environment (see above training options for single organisation or school). However, in some cases schools or organisations may decide to share costs of training and large group/ multi school training may be required. Multi school and multi organization training is offered in half day (3 hour) or, full day (6 hour) training slots (including break times).

 

Multi school/ organisation training requires a different approach to our single organisation/ school training and will be charged as follows:

• Half Day: minimum cost for 4-20 participants $810.00 with an additional fee of $45 per participant over 20 participants + GST

• Full Day: minimum cost for 4-20 participants $1620.00 with an additional fee of $45 per participant over 20 participants. + GST

 

It is the responsibility of the organisation(s) or school(s) that are booking the training to provide a suitable venue and audio visual presentation equipment to facilitate the training. For multi school and multi organisation bookings final participant numbers need to be provided 14 days prior to the date of training. This ensures presenters have time to organise all training materials.
